Roasso Kumamoto   Leave a comment

A new club to J-league 2 they increased the Kyushu party and made the season more expensive for Consadole Sapporo fans after moving up in 2008.

Playing all in red they used to be known as Kumamoto Rosso (Italian for red) before also adding an ‘a’ to be Roasso. According to wikipedia because it is Italian for ace, but presumably more because Mt. Aso is in Kumamoto.

Only an hour away from Fukuoka, but without having the history yet to be seen as a hated rival.

Based : Kumamoto, Kyushu.

Stadium : KKWing Stadium (32,000) and Suizenji Stadium (15,000)

Years in J-league 1 : 0

Years in J-League 2 : 3
