The most successful of the young clubs in J-League they have managed to gain access to J2, get promoted to J-League 1, and win the J-League Cup since being founded in 1994.

Getting regular big crowds they will be hoping to go straight back up to J-League 1 after relegation in 2009.

Their Trinita name is supposed to represent the trinity between the club and local people and businesses.
