Sporting a horrible kit, and with some interesting footage of Level 5 Stadium from over 10 years ago (it looks exactly the same and they are already using the music from Top Gun) Avispa Fukuoka are involved in a playoff match with Kawasaki Frontale.
If Avispa lose then they are relegated to J2 with Kawasaki taking their place.
As like often happens in playoffs there is last minute drama as Avispa snatch an equalizer deep in injury time.
Scenes like these make the introduction of a play off system in J2 even more attractive (teams from 3rd to 6th play-off to go up.
