A Kyushu native he started his career in the Avispa youth teams and broke through to the first team squad in 2008 as a busy striker.
He had opportunities to show his worth in 3 seasons at the club as a substitute but never really did enough to get more game time, failing to score in the 18 games he got.
I thought he looked good every time I saw him, and was disappointed to see him released as he is a prolific scorer for the reserves and plays with a lot of energy, but the stats don’t lie and Shinoda saw alot more of him than me.
