Rokutan – 7 Didn’t really have a lot to do, but did what came his way pretty well. His kicking wasn’t much better than Kamiyama’s, but he did come out for crosses better. First clean sheet of the season.
Wada – 7 I was disappointed that Kim Min Je wasn’t playing, but he may have been injured/tired rather than dropped. Wada hasn’t looked very good when he has come on this season, but today he did really well. Defended well, and took a couple of long range shots.
Tatsunori – 8 Energetic as always, and coupled this with good defending. Been one of our better players this season overall.
Kogara – 8 Along with goalkeeper this has been our problem position this season. The problem may have been solved for now with Kogara providing some welcome height, and letting little past him.
Daiki – 7 Played to his normal good standards, and had a partner fit to be alongside him today.
Sueyoshi – 6 A better performance, but I still need to see more energy and bite. The way the team is set up he has a big job to destroy the opposition midfield and he isn’t really doing it at the moment.
Suzuki – 6 Also much better, but makes Sueyoshi’s job much harder by not covering as much ground. Moments of great vision, but seems to look for the Hollywood pass as a first option at times.
Matsuura – 6 A quiet game, but a couple of top quality with runs into the box. Horrible thing to say but I’d like him to be a little more cynical when it comes to looking for fouls in the box.
Yusuke – 6 A bustling game, and quietly effective at times. The explosive pace has definitely gone. Caught and stood on the ball when given a headstart through on goal.
Jogo – 7 A much, much better position for him. I don’t know why it has taken so long, but he will hopefully remain a bit deeper, and a bit freer behind Shigematsu. Needs more running, we have options on the bench, he should be scraped off the pitch after 70 minutes.
Shigematsu – 8 Must be in the team from now on. The amount of running he did is the main reason why Kobe were finding it hard to instigate moves. Didn’t get lots of chances to score, but a real handful for defenders.
Yamaguchi – 6 I was very worried when he came on, but he didn’t let the team down.
Takahashi – 7 10 minutes to go and in need of a goal is exactly how he should be played. A couple of classy touches at the end nearly took all 3 points.
Shinoda – 8 Have to give credit to the manager for making wholescale changes to the defence and getting a clean sheet. I hope he now sees the strength within the squad and is more ruthless in changing players who aren’t performing.
